Guest cwn annwfn
Hi to all terrier-enthusiasts, especially the P(J)RT fanciers! I have spent much time searching on the web for working Parson (Jack) Russell Terriers studs (the "long-legged" ones, not the Australian JRT type with short legs and long back) in GB, unfortunately without much success so far. So I thought you might be able to help me:) Could you recommend stud dogs from good working lines who work well in the field, especially underground? What I´m dreaming of is a dog of good size (<36cms), small chest, good front, good type & head with a complete scissor bite and great working performance;) Preferably with harsh broken or rough coat and heavy colour, if possible tricolour. And of course he should be a great worker and of good health... I know it´s impossible to find this "perfect" dog, but I´d like to try it at least... It would be absolutely great if there was any further information on the web like photos & pedigree so that I have a chance to form an opinion. Any links are welcome! And here my second question - what kennels, both from JRTCGB and PRTC (KC) or any other clubs, are still breeding for performance and not only shows? It´s hard to find out about that on the web and I only know about very few of them. I´m afraid my questions must sound completely crazy for you, please apologize for that But I thought if anyone can help me, then it´s terrier people from England who know the working P(J)RT scene over there themselves. ANY hints concerning working kennels and good working studs are highly welcome You can also mail me privately to cwn.annwfn@aon.at or the e-mail address in my profile. Thanks a lot in advance! Guest cwn annwfn
Thanks for your answers! [http://www.jackrussell.org.uk/ I already know this site but I couldn´t find any information about affiliated working kennels or stud dogs or something similar. Does no one know about working kennels for P(J)RT in GB? Are there so little of them left ? Karin Quote Link to post
